Ashley Frantzen

Owner & Therapist

Hi, I'm Ashley Frantzen, MSW, LSWAIC, MHP

I'm a relational therapist supporting individuals and couples through life's challenges, transitions, and the moments that are hard to put into words. I bring clinical training and genuine presence to every session and a deep belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is where healing begins.

I hold a Master of Social Work and am licensed as a Clinical Social Work Associate and Mental Health Provider in Washington State. I'm also completing advanced training toward certification as a Sex Therapist, and am working toward my Perinatal Mental Health Certification.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in social services and community mental health experiences that shaped my understanding of how deeply life circumstances, relationships, and identity intersect with our mental and emotional well-being. That background informs everything I do in the therapy room.

How I work:

My approach is client-centered and intuitive. I don't follow a rigid model; I follow you. Each session moves in the direction most needed that day, guided by your insights, readiness, and what's true for you right now.

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Relational Frameworks
  • Sex Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Therapy

Clients often describe my style as warm, grounding, and deeply present. I hold space for both the messy and the meaningful, the parts of you that are growing, grieving, or simply trying to figure out what's next.

Therapy with me isn't about having the right answers or fixing what's broken. It's about slowing down enough to actually hear yourself and having someone genuinely in your corner while you do.
